Durga Puja has come and the fortunes of Goddess Durga are on the ascent. I don’t know how the reporter from Dainik Jagaran fathomed that we call Shikha by the name "Maate" in our house. Here’s a newspaper article on Shikha Maate in Dainik Jaagaran. Some stats are wrong. Inevitably they always are 🙂 But the general drift is correct.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October, 2012, NEEV Herbal Handmade Soaps was given a State Level Award as The Best KVIC (PMEGP) Unit in the Jharkhand State.
The award ceremony took place in the state capital, Ranchi and was attended by government dignitaries
1. Mr Arjun Munda – Chief Minister, Jharkhand
2. Mr. Syed Ahmed – Governer, Jharkhand
3. Mr. Shibu Soren – Ex Chief Minister, Jharkhand
4. Mr. Jainandu – Cairman, KHADI Board, Jharkhand
Shikha accepted the award on behalf of NEEV Herbal Handmade Soaps team. My parents accompanied us to Ranchi to attend the function along with our daughter, Harshal
Mr. Arjun Munda visited our stall displaying NEEV’s herbal products and thrilled Harshal by shaking hands with her.
In the function was also released a CD featuring the success achieved by the best KHADI (PMEGP) units in the Jharkhand State. There is a feature of NEEV Herbal Handmade Soaps in the CD.

Kshitij, a remarkable interschool cultural event organized by the students of XLRI every year took place on 29th Sept, 2012 in the XLRI Campus. About a dozen schools participated in various competitions this year.
We are proud to share that our school students won two prizes. They came 1st in the juniors group singing event and came 3rd in the juniors group dancing event.
